By the MyPract team · Updated 2026-10-05
Short answer: For a 10-user firm, MyPract costs about ₹12,000 a year versus about ₹59,400 on Zoho Practice Standard, and MyPract includes a client portal on every plan. Zoho Practice is the better choice for Zoho Finance partners (free access) and for firms whose clients run on Zoho Books and need linked workpapers and ledgers.

Zoho Practice is a capable practice-management layer from one of India's most respected software companies. It works best inside the Zoho Finance ecosystem, where it connects with Zoho Books, Expense, Payroll, Inventory and Ledger.[20][21] For firms whose clients aren't on Zoho Books, though, the price and plan structure can be hard to justify.
This guide compares Zoho Practice with MyPract, an AI-native practice management platform built for Indian CA, audit and tax practices. We cover cost, client collaboration, time billing and data hosting.

Where MyPract is stronger
A client portal on every plan
On Zoho Practice, the self-service client portal is a Premium feature,[22] which starts at ₹1,07,400/yr.[23] MyPract's client portal works through a shareable link on every plan. Clients can message you and upload documents, and portal clients are free. You don't need to put clients on any particular accounting software.
Built for firms whose clients aren't on Zoho
Zoho's pricing table marks Standard-plan client management as "(Zoho Clients Only)".[22] Independent reviewers at SelectHub reach a similar conclusion: Zoho Practice is "best suited for accounting firms already invested in the Zoho ecosystem".[24] MyPract doesn't care which accounting software your clients use, whether Tally, Busy, Zoho Books or spreadsheets.
Time-to-invoice discipline
MyPract's time module covers timer, timesheet, approvals, time locks, rate rules and utilisation. It turns approved hours into invoices with tax and auto-numbering. For audit and advisory firms that bill on effort, that loop from approved time to invoice is the core of the product.
A longer, no-pressure evaluation
Zoho offers a 14-day trial.[22] MyPract offers three months with no card. That's long enough to see a full quarter of GST, TDS and advance-tax work flow through the system.
Where Zoho Practice is stronger
- Ecosystem integration: Zoho Practice integrates natively with Zoho Books, Expense, Inventory, Payroll, Sign, Mail and Cliq.[20][22] If your clients run on Zoho Books, workpaper adjustments update the client's books directly.[25]
- Workpapers and ledgers: Zoho Practice offers structured workpapers with document requests and anomaly detection, plus ledgers for clients on other accounting software.[20][22][25][26] MyPract doesn't offer these.
- WhatsApp and workflow automation: Zoho Practice has built-in WhatsApp campaigns, workflow rules and custom modules.[22][23][26]
- Free for partners: Zoho partners can use it at no cost.[22]
Who should choose which?
Choose Zoho Practice if:
- You're a Zoho Finance partner (free access).
- Most of your clients use Zoho Books.
- You need workpapers and ledgers tightly linked to client books.
Choose MyPract if:
- Your clients use a mix of accounting systems.
- You want a client portal without paying for a Premium tier.
- You bill on time and need approvals and locks.
- You're a 6–30-person firm that would pay four to five times more on Zoho Standard.
